Ikaruga landing on XBLA in April?

PALGN Rumour | Release date 'accidentally' uploaded.
As a rumour hinted at for over a year now, it looks like one of Treasure's cult classic scrolling shoot 'em ups, Ikaruga, is finally ready for its Xbox Live Arcade debut, XBLAH! reports.

According to the ever observant eyes of Japanese website Xbox-News.com, the Japanese Xbox.com webpage for the XBLA version of Ikaruga went up a tad earlier than expected, revealing a more than welcome April 9 release date.

While the webpage in question was subsequently taken down, the quick hands at XBLAH! also managed to save a screencap of the page for posterity and proof, viewable by all here.

As any fan of the arcade, Dreamcast, or indeed the GameCube version of the game will tell you, if this leaked release date is true to its word, Ikaruga can only mean wondrous polarised shooting entertainment for any and all unassuming Xbox Live Arcade players daring to test its black and white bullet fire.
