Help decide TimeSplitters 4 platforms

PALGN News | Free Radical asks the internet who wants their new game.
Free Radical appears to be unsure as to what consoles the upcoming TimeSplitters 4 should appear on, asking the internet to help decide.

A poll on the company's website is asking which platforms people want to see the game on, giving the options of Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PC. There's also an option that suggests Free Radical should make a console itself, should none of those float your boat.

You can place your vote here.

TimeSplitters 4 was announced almost a year ago now, in the form of an incredibly brief teaser trailer, promising to "take the first person shooter to gaming nirvana". Since then, information on the game has been incredibly hard to come by, though this poll gives hope that the game hasn't been forgotten.

Let's just hope it turns out a bit better than Haze.

And a controller that works for FPS.

EDIT:

@ kaerlis:

It felt alright, but was kind of gimmicky and not as quick, responsive and accurate as you would have thought.
I disagree about Prime 3’s controls. The IR aiming didn’t feel gimmicky at all, and any sluggish or slowness of the movement can be easily fixed. MoH:H2 is a good example of a game with very quick and sharp FPS controls.

Honestly, IR aiming is the smallest issue with TS4 on the Wii, so much so I wouldn’t even call it an issue. Making a game for the weakest system with the weakest online platform is easily the biggest issue, as is porting the game down.

Unless a game is CoD4, GoW2 or Halo 3, console online is doomed to be a fart in the wind. I want splitscreen, real, 4-player splitscreen, with a million options like TS2 and Future Perfect had (and the real Perfect Dark, for that matter), a carton of beer and my mates around. **** online, it's full of idiots and elitist assholes!

Oh god this. For me, Timesplitters is like Mario Kart or something - online is cool, but the absolute emphasis must be on offline splitscreen. I want to play with my friends, not randoms.

And FPS games should only benefit from competently done Wii controls. Are Free Radical the people to actually do it competently? Maybe, I dunno. I just want it on Wii because its all I have, and its what my friends and I will play.

It should be made for all systems. Making it an exclusive title to one console would be very stupid, considering the series has never been console exclusive.

Daymn, I forgot that TimeSplitters had split-screen multiplayer. There's no way the Wii could handle that and do it justice. I say PS3 or 360. And since I own both consoles I'd prefer them to aim at just one, to get the most out of that system.

of course splitscreen would be a major issue, but to have an online aspect at all would be a definite plus since you might not always have 3 friends who are free for a bit of TS splitscreen.

The GameCube did TS2 plenty of justice icon_wink.gif Pity Future Perfect never made the 'cube over here, I had to get the PS2 version.
