There are several multi-platform releases in the pipeline over the next seven days. First up on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC is Stormrise, which hopes to lay to rest the debate over whether strategy games can truly work on consoles. Vin Diesel burns some serious rubber in The Wheelman, also on 360, PS3 and PC. Next, players can experience the history of videogames through the eyes of industry veteran Matt Hazard in Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, a third-person shooter scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on Thursday (more info can be found here from eGames 2008). The PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Silent Hill: Homecoming can also be found on store shelves this week (Xbox 360 owners will have to wait until April).
After a late delay last week, Scene It? Box Office Smash is released on Xbox 360. PlayStation staple Buzz also has a new title on the cards, with the Australian-flavoured quiz game Buzz: Brain of Oz arriving on PSP, PS2 and PS3.
Black and white slasher MadWorld (our review of the game will be available shortly) and an updated version of Mario Power Tennis come to the Nintendo Wii, while Commander and Conquer: Red Alert 3 earns its own PlayStation 3 iteration. PC gamers can put their strategy skills to the test with Codename Panzers: Cold War and Tom Clancy’s EndWar. Finally, and rather surprisingly, Puzzle Quest: Galactrix was just confirmed for release on Nintendo DS and PC this Friday.
