Australian sales charts, week ending 06/04/09
PALGN News | Nothing to see here, folks.

This week's charts look more or less the same as last week's. Of course, Nintendo's money printing machine, Wii Fit, is still firmly entrenched in first place. Its bratty kid brother, Wii Play (with bundled Wii remote), is right behind it at two. The PlayStation 2 gets representation in the top ten thanks to Singstar Queen hanging onto third place. Making a somewhat inexplicable return to the charts in fourth place is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the Xbox 360 - can it really qualify as a full priced game? Hmm. DS puzzler Brain Training makes its return to the charts in fifth place, after a brief one-week hiatus.
As all the Wii games are doing this week, Mario Kart Wii has retained its chart position from last week - sixth place. Climbing two places to seventh is the lovely DS Grand Theft Auto adaption, Chinatown Wars, while PlayStation 3 blaster Killzone 2 makes a return to the charts, stopping off at eight. That other DS puzzler, More Brain Training has surfaced yet again, taking up residence at nine. The charts end rather similarly to last week, with Resident Evil 5 in tenth place - the difference this week being it's the PS3 version, rather than the 360 one.
The charts are updated weekly and are provided by those wonderful people at GfK.
