Bayonetta sees the eponymous witch using a variety of fantastical powers (including her magic hair), firearms (affixed to her limbs), and blades to see off a bevy of hideous monsters posing as angels.
The game is being developed by Platinum Games, who were responsible for the recent Wii title MadWorld, and springs forth from the fertile loins of Hideki Kamiya, director of the original Devil May Cry. Its pedigree alone makes it a title worth keeping an eye on.
