This Week's Releases - 26/10/09

PALGN Feature | Burnin' up the dance floor.
This week, the next invention from the legendary creators of Guitar Hero hits the shelves. DJ Hero on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Wii allows players to become the ultimate disc jockey. You can scratch and mix your way through over 100 tracks from the likes of 50 Cent, Blondie, Foo Fighters, Gwen Stefani and more (the full track list can be found here). Aspiring DJ's can mix various tracks, sample and customise tunes by dropping in sound effects and battle friends locally or in online multiplayer. DJ Hero will be partying its way into stores from Wednesday, while the special Renegade Edition is scheduled to arrive late next week.

Next up is Konami's answer to FIFA 10, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The latest instalment in the football simulator series has been completely reworked, with overhauled artificial intelligence, visuals, animations and player moves. Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will be landing on computers and consoles on Thursday.

After a late delay last week, Borderlands can be found on PC. The two downloadable episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony can be purchased on one disc, while Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars comes to PlayStation Portable. Our reviews for The Lost and Damned and Chinatown Wars on PSP can be read here and here respectively.

DJ Hero and EyePet for me (EyePet mainly for the camera + a really cheap camera based game).

You missed Ratchet & Clank and Dragon Age in Coming next Week.

I've got points set aside for ...Gay Tony and i'm considering PES 2010 but tbh, i wasn't impressed by its demo. Maybe if there's a JB deal for it.

To be fair to Harmonix - Activision didn't create Guitar Hero.

I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in DJ Hero, not my style of music but I know plenty of people who are plenty excited about it.

Next week we got Ratchet and Clank which is a must for me, Ive been thinking about Dragon Age but maybe in the future.

I'm a bit disappointed about DJ Hero Renegade Edition getting delayed but at least I'll still have Ballad of Gay Tony to tide me over until next week.

Damnit, The Ballad of Gay Tony is out soon. Completely forgot about that, now I can't decide if I should buy that, or use that $30 to maybe buy MW2.
