Battle Arena Melbourne tournament details announced

PALGN News | Time to stand up and fight.
Entering its third year now, the annual Battle Arena Melbourne fighting game tournament will once again see some of the best players in the nation come together to compete across a series of fighting games.

Taking place between 1 - 2 October at the CQ Event Room, BAM will feature tournaments for several games, including Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5 and Super Smash Bros Brawl.

For those not interested in getting right into the intense tournament action, there will also be other events held in the lead-up to the tournament. In a special pre-BAM event held at the Mana Bar, pugilist players can have a hands-on experience with a few fighting titles yet to reach Australian shores, including Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter X Tekken and Soul Calibur V.

Got any info for the special events at Mana bar? I have the week off from classes and would love to play some SC5 and SFvT.

Is anyone else in Melbourne interested?

I'm pretty sure SFxT, UMvC3 and SC5 are not going to be playable at the pre-BAM manabar event.

Not unless there is a THQ rep there. But I think there will be something when the games official launch here in Oz.

Thanks for the coverage Cody! icon_smile.gif
