We Want You

PALGN News | Presuming you aren't rubbish, of course.
We have just had several staff members say goodbye here at PALGN, so more than ever before we need your help to keep this site running.

PALGN has established itself as one of the most viewed gaming websites in Europe, the UK and particularly Australia. Not bad considering our humble beginnings on another website's forum, eh?

Do you consider yourself an above average writer? Are you able to make a commitment to something and stick to it? Do you love gaming? If you said yes to all those questions, then you are just the sort of person we're looking for. But, for those against reading prose, here is a brief list of our incredibly basic requirements.

You have:

- a passion for gaming
- at least one or more console
- the drive to write at least one article (be it news, a review or a feature) a week
- most importantly, a solid grasp of the English language and good all round writing ability.

Did you just nod your head to all of that? Fantastic. What you need to do now is write up a review of at least 1000 words, ensuring that you use our review criteria (ie, graphics, sound, gameplay, lifespan, overall scores and comments - your submission will be thrown in my inbox trash if you cannot do this, unless you're REALLY talented). Make sure you save it as a .doc or a .txt file, then email it along with your name, age and location to brendan@palgn.com.au as soon as possible. Feature articles will also be considered, but reviews are preferable.

Please keep in mind that we are a fansite with no financial backing, and, as such, we cannot pay you. However, some review code will be made available to successful applicants.

Get cracking!

Perfect timing I must say. I have been wanting to apply for a while now but everytime you have needed staff, other life commitments have stopped me from applying. Gran Turismo 4 hits tomorrow, so expect a review of that. icon_smile.gif

And for once, I'll not actually be applying at all! :O:O:O

I'll rephrase. First time I'm not entering when I don't work for a corrupt and worthless website that'll nose dive into oblivion within mere seconds of re-launching. icon_razz.gif

Hm... yes, but "highest viewed" doesn't sound right, so it should probably be "most viewed" or "most frequently viewed".
(Highest: 931 google hits; Most: 2,760,000).

One of the most viewed? icon_eek.gif That's quite a statement to believe... especially as we have so few posting members icon_lol.gif

We are using our statistics which are now nearing over 2000 unique hits a day, which is MORE than any of our Australian competitors.

Most frequently viewed sounds best, but eh.

And mangaman, no offence, but you're a bit too young.

I would love to write some reviews for PALGN but unluckily enough I have my HSC this year and my mid course exams next week icon_confused.gif
