Australian Sales Charts - Week Ending 08/05/05

PALGN News | The force is strong with the charts.
Gran Turismo 4 managed to hold off the Sith assault this week, hanging onto its #1 position. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith for the PS2 debuted at a strong #2, with the Xbox counterpart managing #4. Forza Motorsport also proved its worth, grabbing the #3 slot.

With three new titles so high, most games fell this week, with the exception Empire Earth 2 which climbed to #6. Doom 3 was hit the hardest, falling from #2 to #10. Midnight Club 3 also fell hard to #9. The PS2 version of Midnight Club 3 climbed two places to push The Sims 2: University down to #5, while San Andreas stood its ground to hold onto to #4.

Finally, for the first time in months, there is only one The Sims title in the top 10. Will this last?

The Sims Count: 1 (!)
