12 Days of Christmas - Final Giveaway!

PALGN News | Eight games to win in our final prize pack.
Before we look to the prize pack we're pleased to announce that the winner of our eleventh prize pack is:

Sue, D
QLD, Australia

Congratulations Sue - your prize pack will be on its way shortly!

We've had a phenomenal response from our readers in response to this competition, and it's amazing just how many games we've given away. We've saved some of the best games for last, and we've got eight games to giveaway for four different platforms.

So how can you win? Well, entry is simple. You don’t need to answer any surveys or questions. All you have to do is follow this link and input your email address. If this is the first time you've entered, then you’ll need to put in a few details so we can contact you, if you've entered before then you don't need to enter any more details.

When you enter you will also recieve a custom referral link, and we're encouraging you to spread these referrals as our past winners have all earned bonus entries from referring other users.

PALGN wants to wish our readers a safe and merry christmas and a brilliant new year. It's safe to say that 2006 is going to be big for the site so make sure you check back for some of the new happenings, including a new competition in January where we'll be enlisting the help of our readers to determine the game of the year for 2005.

Our staff members won't be taking a break this year, and we'll still be working tirelessly to ensure we cover some of the games we missed and so that you can get your PAL gaming fix.

If you've entered before then you automatically recieve an entry into this prize draw, but you can enter again for a bonus entry.

So, what exactly are we giving away? We've got The Matrix: Path of Neo, Without Warning, The Incredible Hulk, Spartan: Total Warrior, Dungeon Siege II, X3 Reunion, Crash Tag Team Racing and Counter-strike. This equates to over $500 worth of prizes, which should make someones christmas day.

Our winner for this prize pack will be unveiled on christmas day (Sunday) so make sure you check back quickly to see if you're a winner.

PALGN wants to thank all the publishers who supported us this year, without the incredible support of these publishers we wouldn't be able to offer such amazing prize packs.

PRIZES

Counterstrike

Release Date: 2003
RRP:$29.95 | F: Xbox
D Microsoft | P: Microsoft

After the success of Counterstrike on the PC, it was inevitable that a console version of the game would make it out eventually; and here it is. The game isn't particularly deep, but it's immensely fun whilst it lasts and is even more addictive online. Despite the fact that the game is quite old, it is still supported very heavily on Xbox Live.

Without Warning

Release Date: November 27th, 2005
RRP:$99.95 | F: Xbox
D Capcom | P: Capcom

Without Warning is the Xbox equivalent of the television show "24". In the game terrorists have seized a chemical plant and if the plant explodes then millions of people could die. Players can control one of six players as the event takes place, although regrettably one of them isn't Jack Bauer. Whilst the game isn't without it's flaws it does have a few moments that are quite entertaining.

The Matrix: Path of Neo

Release Date: 21st November, 2005
RRP:$99.95 | F: Playstation 2
D:Shiny | P: Atari
PALGN PREVIEW | BUY NOW

After the questionable Enter the Matrix, the Wachowski brothers have returned with a somewhat better Matrix game where you actually get to take control of Neo himself. The story follows the events of all three Matrix titles and some of the core moments from the film are in the game. There's also movie footage and the ability to execute all the movies that Neo did in the movies. The game also allows the Wachowski brothers to finish the story of the series.

...

X3: Reunion

Release Date: 14th November, 2005
RRP:$89.95 | F: PC-CD Rom
DEgosoft | P: QV software
PALGN REVIEW | BUY NOW

X3 Reunion, an ambitious title that offers an open-ended structure, it is the follow-up to critics' favourite X2. The game is upgraded from its predecessor and includes the ability to trade in a new economy and fight individual dog fights. It's been years since X2 appeared, so fans of the series will be pleased to hear the series has returned.

...

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Release Date: 14th September , 2005
RRP:$69.95 | F: Playstation 2
D: Radical Entertainment | P: Vivendi

The Hulk made a lackluster appearance when the movie came back in 2002, so it is fair to say that we were less than excited about the Hulk's next appearance. Fortunately this game has turned out to be surprisingly decent and allows the player to have far more freedom; without those boring stealth moments. No humans, just the Hulk.

...

Spartan: Total Warrior

Release Date: 20th October, 2005
RRP:$99.95 | F: Gamecube
D:Creative Assembly | P: Sega
PALGN REVIEW | BUY NOW

The team behind Rome: Total War try something completely different with Spartan: Total Warrior and the game has turned out way better than we had exhausted. At any one time there can be hundreds of enemies on screen at once which can prove both exhillerating and nervewrecking for players. If you're a fan of roman action titles then Spartan: Total Warrior is right up your alley.

...

Crash Tag Team Racing

Release Date: 9th November, 2005
RRP:$69.95 | F: Xbox
D:Radical Entertainment | P: Vivendi Universal
PALGN REVIEW | BUY NOW

Crash Tag Team Racing wins the award for being released at the worst possible time, basically alongside the incredible Mario Kart. Despite this though the game is actually surprisingly good and is a great alternative to the moustached plumber. The game is developed by the team behind The Simpsons: Hit and Run and doesn't just involve kart racing, but platforming as well.

Dungeon Siege II

Release Date: 1st, November 2005
RRP:$69.95 | F: PC-CD Rom
D Microsoft | P: Microsoft
PALGN REVIEW | BUY NOW

Dungeon Siege II is a highly anticipated sequel, simply because the predecessor was such incredible fun. Once again you will be called onto to use weaponry and cast spells to save the world (is there any other way) from inpending doom. There has been an over abunance of RPG's lately and Dungeon Siege II doesn't do much to differentiate itself from the pack, but if you're after an RPG with a touch of weaponry and wizardry then Dungeon Siege II is likely to fulfil your desires.
