Recent confirmation from an Capcom Europe insider reveals that the possibility of a Resident Evil 4 PC release is likely. ‘Chompman’ then goes on to mention that Capcom Europe will not be publishing the title, but are currently looking for a distribution partner for the project (due to Capcom Europe’s lack of experience in the field). This announcement was soon after backed by leading European Online Shop Play.com, who are displaying the game at the RRP of 20 pounds.
This isn’t the first time that we've heard of such news. Speculation was made in early December with Capcom announcing that they were hoping to target a broader audience by releasing more multiplatform titles.
It is currently unknown what extras the game will receive, if any, or how the game will be treated in terms of upgrades over previous versions. At this stage, this is not confirmed, but from reliable sources, it seems to be true.
