20% off all video games. Tiles vary from store to store.
and here was i thinking the PS3 didn't launch for another few months...

^heh. I laughed.

Whats with the constant core 360 console deals? I want a premium one, damn it.
^ so does everyone, hence demand isn't introducing the need to reduce the price.

if something is selling consistantly well, why would you reduce the price?

expect a price-drop sometime in march though, imo.

Good price on TDU. I might have to pick it up.

^ Just what I was thinking. I need some driving to keep me happy til Forza, and I'm not really digging Burnout this time.

Well the 360 is already $400 cheaper than the PS3 will be, and Halo3 hasn't been released yet so I can't see that happening.

Yeah. I bought Burnout a few weeks back, I just can't get into it like I did with the others.

Edit : its an awesome game, someone should ask Spanca if he wants to sell his copy. icon_wink.gif

mwahaha it's amazing how much dvdcrave have dropped the price of the ps3 since they started selling them, first they were $1499 with no game for the 60gb model, now only 2 months later they are $999 with a game and more. I bet the people who paid $1500 would be mega annoyed

I could be a little tight arsed with my money, but really, the games listed above aren't bargains.

The other day at work, when I was pricing down things, I came across "Doom 3" in the metal case for Xbox, & it was reduced to sell for $25. Of course, it was new. Now, things like that are bargains.
Keep in mind those prices are better than full retail that people would otherwise be paying. Speaking of which, this is about to be added, 20% all Xbox 360 for people subscribed to the Toys R Us Mailing list. www.toysrus.com.au

Can someone with that Kmart catalogue (Joseph?) tell me when the catalogue deals expire? Is it the end of this week or next? It's usually in the fine print one the first page or elsewhere.
Spanca, go to www.kmart.com.au and click on catalogue and it's up there.

"Catalogue on sale Thursday 8th until Wednesday 14th February 2007"
Generally, Big W, Kmart and Target end on Wednesday, the day before their next catalog starts unless otherwise stated. Do people feel it would be good if PALGN included sale ending dates?
I think it would be a good thing to add because the sales can vary in length. Sometimes it's 1 week, sometimes it's 2 weeks and sometimes it's just a 1 day sale.
Playasia have a fantastic sale on region free 360 games. If any of the titles interest you if you could show your appreciation by purchasing through my affiliate link in my sig that would be good.
I just got myself a new job (I quit my old one) so I'm thinking of getting a couple of games off Playasia. No 360 games though. Initial D and Bleach on PSP.

I'll one through your affiliate link and one through Mitchacho's to be fair.

I honestly wouldn't call that a bargain, the Doom 3 "Limited Edition" tin case editions were marked down last year from many retailers and could be purchased for under $20. I wouldn't class it was a limited edition either as there was never a regular edition version icon_smile.gif

Fair enough. I'll have a look at incorporating it into next week's list then.
