E3 2007: Spider-Man: Friend or Foe detailed

A few months ago a teaser website for Spider-Man: Friend or Foe surfaced just after Spider-Man 3 was released to lackluster reviews.

Finally Activision has shed more light on the title, with the first details for the game surfacing. Spider-Man: Friend or Foe will be coming to the Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, PC and the PSP, with the PlayStation 3 missing out.

Friend or Foe is based on the Spider-Man film trilogy and the Spider-Man comics. In the game players will need to defeat and join forces with movie nemeses Doc Ock, the Green Goblin, Venom and Sandman. The game will feature a completely original story and you'll take control of Spider-Man and either a Super Hero or a Super Villain sidekick. The game also includes a co-op mode similar to Lego Star Wars, in that a friend can jump into the game at any moment and drop out instantly.

I wonder why the decided to not put it on the ps3. Well i guess i wont be getting it then.

Hmm.. I don't quite understand.. why would the PS3 miss out? Doesn't Sony have at least some minimal control over the IP? Assuming the game is somehow related to the movie rather than the comic..

Dam no PS3 really blows. Hope the Wii version gets more prod then S3 did.

This game sounds freaking awesome.I love when Spider-Man and Venom team up.Venom is my favourite villain because he's how I'd be if I had super powers, protecting innocents while gleefully murdering evil-doers.
