Timesplitters 4 announced

PALGN News | Sort of.
The TimeSplitters series has always flown somewhat under the radar. It's a bit odd really, when you consider it's been bought to us by some of the folks who worked on GoldenEye 007, way back on the Nintendo 64. TimeSplitters: Future Perfect was the last game in the series, released across multiple platforms back in 2005.

Now, some two years later, Free Radical's website has just been updated with a brief teaser trailer, making it certain that TimeSplitters 4 is in development (they are also looking for help making the game, if you're interested). It seems that it will be taking the humour the series is known for either further, with a promise that you will "save the world or die laughing". They also claim that the game will "take the first person shooter to gaming nirvana". We will have to wait and see.

Until then, you can check out the teaser trailer here.

Wasn't there some talk about Free Radical thinking Timesplitters would be good on Wii? Or was that the usual 'Nintendo fans take small comment and blow it out of the water'?

Either way, woo! Timeplitters!

^ I remember that as well. Who knows, maybe they played Red Steel and canned it? Timesplitters 2 was on the the few FPS's that I enjoyed last gen.

It's gotta be on Wii, FPS + dual analogue ≠ gaming nirvana
