Shadow of the Colossus composer to perform in Sydney

PALGN News | With the artists from the Eminence orchestra.
Kow Otani, composer of the lauded Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack, is set to perform in Sydney on December 15 and 16. Otani will be joined by Japanese singer Aika, and artists from the Eminence orchestra, including founder Hiroaki Yura.

The concert, titled 'Unearthing Eden The Sounds of Ainaru' will focus on the compositions of Otani, featuring cues from Shadow of the Colossus, anime Haibane Renmei, and entirely new works that will be premièred at the event. If a unique and possibly once-in-a-lifetime performance of music from Shadow of the Colossus by the composer himself appeals, head down to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Macquarie Street. The details are as follows:

Unearthing Eden The Sounds of Ainaru
Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Macquarie Street, Sydney
Saturday, 15th of December 3PM/7PM
Sunday, 16th of December 3PM/7PM
Prices range from concession C-tier seats at $30 to full-price A-tier seats at $70

For more information, check out the Eminence website. PALGN recently conducted an interview with Eminence, covering a wide variety of topics, including the future of the orchestra. You may view the interview here.
