Australian Sales Charts - Week Ending 13/03/05

PALGN News | No surprise with the #1 this week.
Gran Turismo 4, arguably the biggest name on the PS2, has unsurprisingly usurped the #1 spot from previous champion Super Mario 64 DS, which dropped down to a very respectable #3 position.

The Sims has landed three titles in this weeks top 10, with the new expansion pack University taking the #2 position. It's mother title, The Sims 2 took up residence in the #7 position, while Full House claimed #8.

The Playboy titles for PS2 and Xbox slipped to #3 and #9 respectively.

The charts are updated weekly and are provided by GfK.

All Consoles (full priced games)

PS2 (over $50)

GameCube (over $50)

Xbox (over $50)

GBA (over $30)

PC (over $20)

Well there ARE 3 times then PS2s in Australia, but not everyone buys a driving game. They both seem to use the same AI routines though (ie none)

As much as I want this game, Im pretty sure I wont be getting it for a couple of weeks - kind of crappy considering its what I bough my steering wheel for icon_razz.gif

I want to read PALGN's review of it first icon_smile.gif

Our review will be up pretty soon I think, Brendan is doing it but our opinions on it are identical. One thing I will say though is it's beautiful with the new Logitech wheel icon_biggrin.gif

It's a great game, just like its been since 1998.

Unfortunately, it still has the same problems as it did in 1998. Sigh.

Exactly.

Although EA does it all the time. We've just come to expect it from them.
