Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 Interview

GCN Interview | We talk to Atari PR director Chris Eade about the upcoming Dragonball Z: Budokai 3.
Due to the phenomenal success of our recent articles on Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 PALGN thought it would go even further in an attempt to retrieve more information about the game.

We approached Atari PR director Chris Eade and interviewed him in an attempt to get some idea on how Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 is progressing. So, without delay PALGN presents the entire interview:

PALGN: Thank you for taking your time out to answer these questions Chris. Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 is set to be one of the biggest titles of the year and we’re eager to get as much information about the title as possible.

PALGN: What new features have been added to Dragonball Z: Budokai 3?

Chris Eade: Finally, we have been able to include full free-flight combat, which is an essential part of the DBZ experience and something that the fans have been asking for. We have also included super high-speed bouts, counter-attacks and Ki management.

PALGN: What sort of multiplayer aspects will be in the title? Will we see an online mode?

Chris Eade: DBZ Budokai 3 will have the facility for 2 players to face off in battle. There are no plans for an online component at this time.

PALGN: What new characters will be featured in the title?

Chris Eade: We are keeping the final list of new characters under wraps, but it will include characters from DBZ, DBZ GT and the movie.

PALGN: Has the fighting system seen an overhaul of any kind?

Chris Eade: The ability to implement counter-attacks has improved the fighting system, along with crouching, blocking and teleporting. Combine this with the free-flight aspect and there will be lots of news stuff to use in combat.

PALGN: What features in the game will keep players coming back to Dragonball Z: Budokai 3?

Chris Eade: The option to customize character attributes will keep DBZ fans playing for a long time! Also the new combat moves will make battle much more interesting than they were in the past.

PALGN: Can you reveal any information about Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 that we haven’t heard about?

Chris Eade: We still have a few surprises up our sleeve that we want to keep for the release of the game. This will be the best DBZ game yet!

PALGN: In conclusion, is there anything else you would like to add about Dragonball Z: Budokai 3?

Chris Eade: Look out for the special edition that will be available at release….

PALGN thanks Chris Eade for his time, We will have more information on Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 as soon as it becomes available.

I suppose it's possible to percieve this as popularity. I on the other hand, think I might roll over and die. icon_razz.gif

If we could get a list of characters, things would be great. icon_smile.gif

Even though dragonball AF is not real I think that you all should think about making it a game, where goku and the other characters(sayiens) can go up level 9 like the make believe pictures that are shown on the internet. It would be really cool and alot of people would bye it includin myself.

I also think that the graphics could have been better like the first budokai which was much more realistic than the other budokais.

Are the DBZ charecters from every DBZ movie?
From what I've heard no, not every character.
