No details were revealed at all alongside these screenshots, but it’s still exciting for Gamecube owners to have a glimpse of what the future holds for their tiny little cube consoles. We do, however, know that the recently announced Mario Baseball title is a joint project with Namco.
In addition, Shigeru Miyamoto, famed game developer of such franchises as Pikmin, Zelda and Mario, has recently reveal some exciting news for Gamecube owners. In the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, he revealed that Mario 128 is still heavily under development for the Gamecube and that Nintendo are currently working with ‘strong links’ on an all-new Pokemon game headed for the Gamecube. It’s still unknown whether the game will be a RPG title or another spin-off from the franchise, but then again, any Pokemon news is exciting.
Whilst we drool in anticipation of what the future holds for the Gamecube, PALGN suggest that our readers check out the latest screenshots via our media panel. PALGN will have more information as soon as it is available.
