E3 2005: Sonic Gems Collection Announced

GCN News | New Sonic compilation announced, and apparently it’s a Gamecube exclusive.

PALGN can today confirm that SEGA plan to officially unveil another title in the Sonic franchise at this week’s E3 expo.

What is currently known as Sonic Gems Collection, the latest compilation title will include old-school classics such as Sonic the Fighters and Sonic CD.

While no official details have been confirmed, it has been reported by several sources, including an interview with Sonic’s creator Yuji Naka, that Sonic Gems Collection will be an exclusive title for the Nintendo Gamecube.
