Ubi Soft have announced that they, in conjunction with Nintendo, will be producing playable demo discs in order to mark the release of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on GameCube this month.
The demo will be made up of a opening cut scene, as well as a level from the Chinese Embassy 2 map. Unique GBA connectivity features will also be available, such as the wall mine, the radar and the sticky bomb.
"We're delighted to be Nintendo's chosen partner in bringing interactive game demos to the public," said Ubi Soft's UK Marketing Director John Parkes. "Playable demos have always been a powerful tool in videogame marketing, and we will take this opportunity to encourage gamers all across the UK to get their hands on Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell in stores and through various contests before launch."
"We're excited to give our customers the chance to try before they buy a GameCube game, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is the perfect title to showcase this new tool," said Dawn Paine, UK Marketing Controller at Nintendo.
Splinter Cell will be hitting the shelves of your local gaming store June 6th.
