Final Animal Crossing release details

GCN News | You know its coming to Australia - and after reading this article, you'll know when.
There's no doubt that you've already heard that Animal Crossing is headed to Australia.

This morning, Nintendo Australia released the final details concerning the game and its release.

Animal Crossing will be available on October 17th for a recommended retail price of $99.95. The media release didn't mention anything more in regards to the release of the e-Reader peripheral, but it is expected that it will launch the same day.

I really don't see the big deal with Animal Crossing, but no doubt this will make many people happy.

Why couldn't Nintendo release this as a budget title? It's a year late and it's an N64 game running on GameCube....

Think of it from a business perspective, rather than a consumer perspective.
