According to Japanese gaming magazine Nintendo Dream, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero and Donkey Kong are all games-series' that will appear in this game, which carries a clear resemblance to the Game & Watch-series with its wide array of games. This is pretty mind-blowing news, to be frank, and makes me want to import a Japanese GBA: SP in an instant!
While this article was in production, we received word from Japanese sources which mention that the magazine says the big name titles (like those mentioned above) will only be playable for a matter of seconds. For example, a Metroid scene takes place during the final battle, where you have to tap the buttons ferociously not to loose, while F-Zero drops you right into the middle of a race, and you have to pass another car or survive a long jump or something like that. Disappointing, to say the least.
More oddities - The game features a unique, yet strange, two-player mode, where two players can play using just one GBA, one using the D-pad and L-trigger, the other using the A and B buttons and the R-trigger.
On another note, the game has opened new opportunities for the Japanese - a GBA owner can bring his GC GBA-cable and connect his GBA to a so-called GameCube Kiosk (found in various gamestores), dowloading whichever Made In Wario game they wish, free of charge. When one turns off the system the game dissapears, though, but this is still a very cool feature, indeed.
Here's some in-game footage from the official website. Couldn't help but chuckle a bit, to be honest. Don't mind the quality.
