It now seems Sqaure-Enix are investing in mobile games as classic title Final Fantasy II has been confirmed for launch.
For those unaware, the storyline of Final Fantasy II is typical RPG fare. The fiendish emperer of Palamecia has summoned dastardly monsters from the underworld, attempting, as always, global domination. A rebel army attempted to oppose them and lost. Of course, four young kids whose parents were killed by the emperor survived and, somewhat predictably, they want revenge.
Compatible phones and a launch date are still unkown, but we will keep you posted.
