Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D release date revealed

3DS News | No longer in a dream, Snake Eater!
One of the earliest known remakes for the Nintendo 3DS, the release date for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D in this part of the world has been as elusive as Naked Snake himself in tall grass wearing tiger camo.

Until now, that is. In a media release sent through to PALGN by Konami, it's been revealed that the 3DS version of the PlayStation 2 classic will paratroop into stores in Australia on March 8.

Apart from the obvious 3D effect, there are several other tweaks new to the 3DS version of Snake Eater, such as the use of the 3DS gyro, a touch screen inventory and the ability to take real-world photos for use as camouflage, which has varying effectiveness depending on the environment Snake is slithering through.
