More Professor Layton for Japan

DS News | For 1200 picarats, what's the luckiest country on Earth?
The latest issue of Famitsu has reported that Level-5 is working on a new Professor Layton Nintendo DS title that will be released in Japan later this year. Dubbed Professor Layton and the Devil's Flute, the game will be set before the other games and features a giant destroying a village. It will also chronicle the first time Layton and his apprentice Luke met.

But what's more, this title is only the first of a new trilogy of Professor Layton games, as well as a Professor Layton animated movie due out in Japan next year. On the other hand, the rest of the world is still waiting for the second and third Professor Layton Nintendo DS games, let alone this new trilogy of games. Perhaps its time Nintendo showed us Westerners a little more Layton love?
