Professor Layton 2 seeing a release outside of Japan

DS News | About time.
Joystiq is reporting that at the Level-5 panel at GDC, Akihiro Hino (director of the Professor Layton series) showed off his current projects, one of which included the second Layton game.

Now dubbed Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, Hino was later asked if it was being localised for release in Europe and North America. He revealed that Diabolical Box is in the middle of being localised, and he hopes to have it out in six months. He also wants to release the final game of the original trilogy, as well as the new trilogy of Layton games worldwide.

This is certainly good news to fans of brain-teasers, so let's hope that the localisation machine goes into overtime to get these games to our sweaty hands.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

About bloody time I'd basicly resigned myself to the fact that we would never see this game in english.

First the Zelda announcement now this, sweet.

Another great year of DS games!

I hope they keep the same British voice actors of Layton and Luke from the original. They were really good!

I heard that the actor that played Luke in the english version is no longer able to lend his voice to the role because his balls dropped.

Dear lord yes!
What's even better is that after this there will be at least 3 more.
Also anyone looking out for some gentlemanly action to stave them off until then should check out Henry Hatsworth. Not the same type of game but still excellent.
