Remarkably, Myer has proven to be the top contender by offering the game for just $49. In case you don’t have a local store though, Kmart is selling it for $54.95 while Target will set you back 5 cents more at $55. For those wanting a cheaper alternative, JB Hi-Fi has a trade-in deal where you’ll get Pokémon Platinum for FREE when you trade-in two DS games – best of all there are no exclusions! EB Games also has a trade-in deal, where you can purchase the game for $19.95 by trading in two DS games that are on the eligible trade-in titles list.
Since we know a lot of our readers are collectors, we’ve also included prices for the official Pokémon Platinum strategy guide. The guide normally retailers for $49.95 and features a walkthrough for the entire game, detailed maps of every location, and data about every Pokémon you can possibly encounter in the Sinnoh region. Big W is charging only $28.84 for the guide, while Kmart is second best with a price tag of $29.95.
