Scribblenauts bargain round-up

DS News | Scribble down which retailers are offering the best prices.
It’s finally here! Tomorrow Scribblenauts is officially released across Australia. Even though word on the street is EB Games is actually selling it right now, those who have remained patient will be able to take advantage of our handy price guide and grab the game below the suggested retail price of $59.95.

For once it seems everybody’s a winner – most major retailers are selling the game below $50, which is certainly nice given those petrol prices aren’t dropping anytime soon. In case you’re a penny-pincher, Big W is selling Scribblenauts for the cheapest price of $48, while JB Hi-Fi, GAME and Kmart are selling it for $49.

Just in case you want to go the extra mile, EB Games has a trade-in deal where you can get Scribblenauts for a mere $9.95 by trading in two games that are on their eligible trade-in titles list. Additionally, by trading-in one Nintendo DS game from their eligible trade-in titles list, you can pick up Scribblenauts for $19.95 at GAME

A full list of specials can be found below. All these bargains will be included in this week’s Australia Gaming Bargains update, which will be published by PALGN on Wednesday afternoon. Please note that the Big W, Kmart and Target specials don’t officially begin until 1 October, so you may have to wait until then to take advantage of those sales.

GAME are doing it for $49, I also snagged a free scribblenauts stylus which was pretty rad of them

^ You totally work there, huh? Heh

But yeah, the Scribblenauts stylus is cute. I managed to snag one, also. It is no Rooster hat, but with those in short supply, any freebie is better than no freebie.

When did that $49 price come in it GAME? I was there yesterday and it was $59.95 on the shelf, so I wonder if it is a new price as of today or just $49 at some stores.
