Electroplankton goes west!

DS News | Only in the US - for the time being.
It seems that Nintendo has been listening to the overwhelming demand. The enigmatic Electroplankton looks to be set for a release outside of Japan, and while the January 6th 2006 release may only be applicable to America, it renews hope that the title will make it to PAL territories through means other than import stores and websites.

Electroplankton has been critically acclaimed and widely noticed for its unusual premise - the game has no objective, no goal and levels. Instead you are left to your own devices, to create music at your. Hopefully, the time spent converting the game will fix a few of the issues that were a bit bothersome in the original Japanese release, namely the lack of a save feature.

Can't wait, hopefully they retain the cool Japanese packaging with the headphones. If not, I'll be importing the Jap version.
