We've gotten the first official images of Resident Evil Dead: Silence, the remake of the original Resident Evil for the Nintendo DS.

The game isn't just going to be a remake - thanks to the functionalities of the Nintendo DS, the game will utilise the microphone and take advantage of the Wi-Fi abilities with versus and co-op modes.

Resident Evil: Dead Silence has no release date yet, but until then, check out the media panel for the latest screenshots.

It looks just like the original Playstation version. Though, it's hard to say wheather or not that's a bad thing.

The main difference here, though, is that while the PS1 version had pre-rendered backgrounds, this one doesn't, which is a plus. However, there's no need for yet another remake of RE1, though.
