Elite Beat Agents Australian release confirmed

DS News | Wario and Diddy Kong dated too.
Nintendo Australia has updated their release schedule on the official Nintendo Australia website and in doing so they've confirmed that Elite Beat Agents is on its way to Australia.

The game will be available on May 3rd, Nintendo also confirmed that Diddy Kong Racing DS will be available on April 9th and Wario: Masters of Disguise will come out May 17th.

The fact that Elite Beat Agents is coming to Australia is good news as Nintendo Australia went a long time before revealing the game will be available, which led a few people to expect the game wouldn't come out in Australia at all.

Does the game suffer much because the Japanese songs didn't get ported across ?

I think so, I didnt enjoy it mainly cause of the bad tracklist, walkie talkie man wasnt bad though, but song was irritating. But this isnt port, its some weird sequel which doesnt look much like the Japanese one.

Good to see it coming, but all three of these release dates are really weak - Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing were on their US (and Japanese) releases, but since then its been longer and longer gaps.

It also means that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl won't hit until June at the earliest. Weak.

Yeah it isnt a port, its a western remake, the game works well but alot of the songs just suck. First impression for me sucked coz level I was playing, the song was YMCA. Once a good song comes up though, it can be loads of fun
