Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Europe release date confirmed

DS News | You thought the Australian release was late.
Nintendo UK has sent word via a press release that Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl will be launching on July the 27th, 2007 in Europe.

Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl are already smash hit titles, with over 6.75 million copies sold worldwide. The Australian release date for the games is set for June the 21st. The games are set in Sinnoh. Once again you'll assume the role of a Pokémon Trainer who begins from Twinleaf. You'll journey through the Sinnoh region solving mysteries and collecting and battling Pokémon. The goal of course is to become the Pokémon League champion. Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl don't fundamentally change the Pokémon formula, but it seems that 6.75 million people still love the game anyway.
