Fighting Street is the home console version of the original Street Fighter arcade game. It’s actually considered to be the worst of the series, but is noted to have built the foundations of the sequels such as having attack buttons and special command based techniques. In the game you can play as either Ryu or Ken, though both characters have identical move sets, and must take on ten NPC opponents. The game will set you back 800 Wii points.
Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 3: Lair of the Leviathan is the obviously the third entry in the Tales of Monkey Island series. In this episode Guybush and his ship are swallowed by a giant manatee while out at sea, and inside the beast’s guts he discovers DeCava, the explorer he has been looking for since the first chapter. This episode is the best yet and will easily appeal to anyone who enjoyed the previous two chapters. The game will set you back 1000 Wii points.
Manic Monkey Mayhem is quite an odd, yet simply game. You essentially take control of a monkey and have to battle other monkeys by throwing bananas at them and knocking them off their platform. The game features several different gameplay modes as well as online multiplayer. It will set you back 1000 bananas (Wii points).
With Uno being a phenomenal success on the Xbox Live Arcade, it was only a matter of time before it would make the jump to WiiWare. The game is pretty much an electronic version of Uno with online multiplayer and Wii Speak support – not much else to it really. The game will set you back 500 Wii points.
Bomberman Blitz is basically a portable version of Bomberman Blast. The game features both old and new items, as well as online multiplayer for up to 8 players. Battle arenas also span across both DS screens, which sounds like it will be a lot of fun for new and old fans. The game will set you back 500 DSi points.
Sudoku is the forth Sudoku game to be released on the DSi store, but at 200 DSi points is arguably the better title of the bunch. There are hundreds of puzzles to solve ranging from Easy to Insane difficulty levels, plus there’s a Newspaper mode which lets you add Sudoku puzzles which are featured in the daily local newspaper. Sounds like a winner to us.
Clubhouse Games Express: Family Favorites is, once again, a bite-sized version of the full retail DS game Clubhouse Games. In this release you can play the games Hearts, Contract Bridge, Dominoes, Dots and Boxes, and Ludo. If you get bored playing alone you can also use your console’s Download Play feature and play competitively with up to seven other players. The game will set you back 500 DSi points.
*Please note that Lost Winds: Winter of the Melodias has also finally been released in Australia. Get downloading!
