Batman: The Brave and the Bold announced for Nintendo platforms

Wii News | Nintendo gets some much needed saving from the Dark Knight.

While Nintendo fans won't get a chance to play the impressive Batman: Arkham Asylum, they will however be getting Batman: The Brave and the Bold for both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii.

The game will be based on the animated TV series of the same name and players will be able to play as Batman, Robin, Green Latern and Blue Beetle, in both single player and co-op modes.

There will be connectivity between the DS and Wii versions of the game, allowing players to unlock a new character 'BAT-MITE' and control him in the Wii version by using a DS.

“Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Videogame further illustrates the diverse appeal of the Batman brand and the gameplay is a fun, vibrant extension of the animated series,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President of Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The game’s co-op play offers kids, families and Batman fans an interactive way of experiencing the cartoon’s iconic characters.”

Probably a top down easy kids game. Nothing to get excited about.

"the game's co-op play offers kids"- thats where I stopped reading. I know its gonna be crap but being a massive Batman fan I'll probably check it out anyway and hope for the best. Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 is where my attention is at.
