Nintendo Store Update - 13/08/10

Wii News | Firing with all guns blazing.
Nintendo has once again brought us a selection of downloadable titles across the Wii and DSi. Taking a shot this week on the Virtual Console is SNES shooter Wild Guns, with support from HoopWorld: Basketbrawl and Family Card Games on WiiWare. This time around, the DSi has but two titles for everyone to download, in the form of Drift Street International and Disney Fireworks.

Title: Wild Guns
System: SNES (Virtual Console)
Price: 800 Wii Points

Originally debuting in 1996 in PAL territories, Wild Guns blends the western genre with heavey elements of sci-fi. Gamers can take on the roles of Annie and Clint, who seek to hunt down a gang that killed Annie's family. Taking a third-person perspective, Wild Guns also allows for two-player support.

Title: HoopWorld: BasketBrawl
System: WiiWare
Price: 1000 Wii Points

Another genre-bending title, HoopWorld: Basketbrawl mixes together a 3-on-3 game of basketball that lets you bust out some kung-fu moves to take on your enemies. When ancient ruins attract groups of comrades from around the world, basketball courts are built and mayhem ensues.

Title: Family Card Games
System: WiiWare
Price: 500 Wii Points

Family Card Games gives gamers the chance to try out a variety of card games all thanks to WiiWare. These include a Speed game, Memory and Daifugo, which is a party game that emphasises social elements. For those who don't feel like playing alone, online support is also in this version.

Title: Drift Street International
System: DSiWare
Price: 800 DSi Points

A DSiWare exclusive, Drift Street International is a street racer game which, as the name suggests, involves players mastering their drifting skills to boost their speed and win races. Gamers can expect to put the pedal to the metal in nine courses across three different countries.

Title: Disney Fireworks
System: DSiWare
Price: 800 DSi Points

In Disney Fireworks your job is light up the night sky using fireworks. The DS stylus is used to flick rockets up into the air to hit matching coloured targets. Disney Fireworks encompasses five settings from the animation powerhouse's past: the skies of Neverland, Hawaii, Fantasia, Agrabah and the Disney Castle itself.
