Taking the 'rail shooter' concept to the next level, BIT. TRIP FATE takes place quite literally on a rail. Faceless protagonist CommanderVideo is controlled via the nunchuck back and forward along a rhythmic rail resembling sound waves, while the Wii remote is used to point and fire at enemies, just like a good old shoot 'em up. CommanderVideo will be able to collect a number of power-ups as he goes, increasing his shot upgrades and patterns.
As has become common with the franchise, BIT. TRIP FATE will feature a chiptune-inspired dubstep soundtrack, this time with a special guest appearance from chipmusic artist 'minusbaby'.
