BIT. TRIP FATE announced

Wii News | I am only a man on wire.
Gaijin Games' barrel of up-tempo retro delights is seemingly bottomless. Not that we're complaining. In fact, we're rejoicing, as the developer has announced a brand new product in their BIT. TRIP line of games titled BIT. TRIP FATE.

Taking the 'rail shooter' concept to the next level, BIT. TRIP FATE takes place quite literally on a rail. Faceless protagonist CommanderVideo is controlled via the nunchuck back and forward along a rhythmic rail resembling sound waves, while the Wii remote is used to point and fire at enemies, just like a good old shoot 'em up. CommanderVideo will be able to collect a number of power-ups as he goes, increasing his shot upgrades and patterns.

As has become common with the franchise, BIT. TRIP FATE will feature a chiptune-inspired dubstep soundtrack, this time with a special guest appearance from chipmusic artist 'minusbaby'.

Below you can find the announcement trailer showcasing gameplay, and if you hunger for more make sure to check out the official website as well.
