Dragon's Curse! HOORAY! I got it too icon_wink.gif

One interesting thing I noticed is that I originally purchased Splatterhouse and Bomberman '93 from the UK channel by switching regions. Now; not only has Virtual Console in Australia detected that I have purchased these games, it even offered me updates on both of them!

Now that's service that leaves a smile!

Does anyone remember the Street Fighter game in the arcade where you could change the character using the start button and fill the screen with sonic booms using guile? I loved that version, it was rediculously fast too. Did it come out on a console ever?

That would be a pirated version of street fighter 2.

As retro started it was a pirated version of SF2, I believe at one stage there approximately 15 different pirated versions out there which had all different tweaks and stuff. I used to love being able to jump higher and higher until you came back through the bottom of the screen or doing the uppercut right across the screen

Oh yeah, that was the Rainbow Edition wasn't it?

Our local takeaway shop had one of those.

It was insane fun - whoever used Ryu or Ken just filed the screen with the slow homing fireballs.

I remember with an Action Replay or Game Genie (can't remember which one I used), you could make some similar modifications to the SNES game at runtime.
