Wii Connection Tour announced

Wii News | See Metroid Prime 3, play Big Brain Academy.
The enigmatic Nintendo of Australia have announced today that their connection tours will be continuing. The Wii Connection Tour will begin on September 22nd and will run until October 14th, across five states and nine shopping centres. Not only will new and future releases be highlighted, players of all ages will get a chance to get some hands-on time.

The main game on show seems to be Big Brain Academy, which is scheduled shortly for release on the Wii. However, attendees will also get a chance to play Super Paper Mario, Wii Sports and Boogie. According to Nintendo, there will be a "special" Metroid Prime 3: Corruption demonstration, as well as a few surprises. But given all these games have already been released in other territories, we're not expecting too much.

The DS will have a few games on display as well. Brain Training, More Brain Training, Big Brain Academy (because your brain can never have enough training) and Picross DS will all be there as well as the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Furthermore, all attendees will have the chance to compete for a Nintendo Wii and Big Brain Academy prize pack.

For those who want to attend, the locations and dates are provided below.

At least it isn't that far for you... FOUNTAIN GATE? SOUTHLAND? WTF!?

Sometimes I think these people don't know how to read a map.

^ ask Ms. South Carolina for any questions regarding maps.

One for WA. Score! I'll just go for the Corruption, if at all.

edit:
Sorry, Ms.
You looked stunning and you were probably nervous and you were wanting to spread the right message. It's all good.

Looks like Metroid will only be a video, or a demo to show people.

Ugh Carousel. Not much of a showing in WA, which is a bummer.

Nintendo is coming back to Carindale again? The last Pokemon tour was quiet, since there was a very little turn out. Maybe I'll pop in between breaks at work and see if I can win the Nintendo Wii and Big Brain Academy prize pack.

My comment was more directed at the lack of venues, with just one for the entire WA region being a little poor, but not to worry.
