Virtual Console updated

Wii News | First Neo Geo title added.

Only a few days ago it was revealed Fatal Fury would be one of the first Neo Geo titles on the Virtual Console. Well, Nintendo has updated the Virtual Console today and sure enough, Fatal Fury has the honour (nay the privilege) of being the first Neo Geo title on the Virtual Console, for the price of 900 points.

If you're not a Fatal Fury fan then four other titles have also been released, Streets of Rage 3, Landstalker, Golden Axe III, and Super Thunder Blade which are all available for 800 points.

I nearly **** my pants after I saw this weeks lineup then I nearly **** my pants again but this time in fear once I saw super thunder blade.

I hope we get SNK vs capcom chaos sometime in 2008/9.

Is there a chance for neo geo pocket games to come out for 500 points?

How many mb's is Fatal Fury?
Because the neo-geo games were over 100mb so will it be taking up half of the Wii's memory or have they used some good compression?

The original Fatal Fury was released before Street Fighter II, don't forget. It's a pretty old game...

It's now $34.95 for 2000 Points. It used to be $29.95AUD, so this is a disappointing turn of events.
