House of the Dead 2 & 3 headed to Wii

Wii News | Wii owners to suffer like G did.

Joystiq reports that Sega will be releasing a combo pack of House of the Dead 2 and House of the Dead 3 on the Wii in 2008. As you'd expect, the game will utilise the soon-to-be-released Wii Zapper, or the nunchuck and remote if you don't have one. A March 2008 release is expected for the North American version of the compilation.

The site claims to have confirmation from Sega that the title is on the way, but stated that the publisher isn't ready to make an official announcement yet.

Expect to see House of the Dead 2 & 3 on shelves in 2008.

That's cool. I own HOD2 for the DC and love it, but have been unable to play since I upgraded to plasma.

Man I wish they had included the original HOD, I always wanted to own that game.

Could Virtua Cop also be on the way? that would rock

Are they being released as 1 package or seperately? Coz it would suck if you have to buy both seperatly

I might get this, I used to have part 2 with the gun on DC and i've never played part III. I hope they chuck in part 1 as a hidden extra or something because it would be nice to have them all in one package.

Yeah I'm tempted if it comes as a bargin price. I liked the HotD games. I'd love to see a Virtua Cop collecton come out too.

So this is basically going to be a port of the Xbox version which had both on the same disc then.

While browsing at DVDcrave, I see they have a March 15th release for the title. I'm looking forward to this one
