New We Love Golf screenshots

Wii News | Did Wii finally get golf right?
Just in time for the game's Japanese release, Capcom have released some new screenshots of their first Wii sports game, We Love Golf. Developed by arcade golf-game veterans Camelot, responsible for the Mario Golf games as well as Sony's Everybody's Golf/Hot Shots Golf series.

While the game looks to be following in the footsteps of their previous 'cute' games, Camelot have been beaten to the market by Tecmo's adaptation of their PC golf game Pangya! Golf with Style, and even to some extent Wii Sports Golf. While Golf is probabaly the best represented sport on the console, many argue that no game has managed to get the motion controlled swing quite right, so hopefully Camelot's pedigree in the genre will mean they can perfect the controls.

We Love Golf will be released in Japan shortly, and will be coming to PAL shores early in 2008.

And doesn't it show. This game looks like a cut and paste job of Mario Golf for the Gamecube without any graphical improvements. I'm hoping motion controls work out well but with it's current showing I'm just not interested.
