700,000 players sign up for Age of Conan

PC News | MMO doing well in the land of the barbarian.
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures netted 400,000 players in its first week, and that figure has just grown. Funcom have announced that over 700,000 players have now signed up for a gaming account with its Conan MMO, reports GamesIndustry.biz.

Gaute Godager, Game Director on Age of Conan, is delighted that the game has sold so well. "We are incredibly pleased to see Age of Conan turning into a MMO phenomenon," he said. "As an MMO company we know that a good start is just the beginning for a virtual world. All we care about now is to make Age of Conan into an even better game, and we have extensive plans to ensure that Age of Conan remains a top MMO alternative for many years to come."
