The Weekend Steam

PC News | Let's travel to a Lost Planet, girlfriend.
With this week’s announcement that Lost Planet 2 is in development, it comes as little surprise Steam’s Weekend Deal is on the original Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. The title has been slashed by 75%, giving it a final price tag of USD $4.99 (approx. AUD $7.81 / GBP £3.50). Another discount has been applied to the RPG Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble, which is now only US $8.99 (approx. AUD $14.08 / GBP £6.34).

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is set in the future where planetary conditions on Earth have become too hostile to support human life. In an attempt to recolonise our species, man has moved to the snowy wastelands of EDN III, where they must battle an alien species known as Akrid in a fight for survival. Apart from a single-player campaign the game also features online multiplayer modes for up to 16 players. You can be taken to the download page by clicking here.

Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble is a very odd RPG were you attempt to change society in the 1920’s. You play as a group of women who have just one goal in mind – misbehaving. Battle it out with petty townsfolk, fib, flirt, taunt and win yourself a boyfriend or two. It goes without saying this is one of those more bizarre indie games, but hey, if you feel like putting on some high heels and calling up the girls for a day out, this might be your thing. I'm 2 for 5 on the Weekend Steam so far, last week's indie pack just wasn't tempting enough, but I'd be mad to miss out on Lost Planet for £3.50. GG JOSEPH. icon_y1.gif
