Arkham Asylum PC system requirements revealed

PC News | How much processing power does the Dark Knight require?

A recent post on the Eidos forums by an official Eidos moderator has revealed the system specifications for the PC version of the anticipated Batman title, Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The specs are outlined as follows:

Minimum

CPU: Intel single core 3 Ghz or AMD equivalent
Memory: XP = 1 GB, Vista = 2GB
GPU: Shader Model 3 NVidia 6600 or ATI 1300 or higher

Recommended

CPU: Pentium D 3Ghz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Dual core)
Memory: XP = 2GB, Vista = 3GB
GPU: NVidia 7900 GT or higher
Enhanced for multi-core

Of course, being a Games for Windows-branded release, the PC edition of Arkham Asylum will also pack a stack of achievements to unlock.

All three versions of Arkham Asylum (PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) are set to bust out on your platform of choice this June.

Gee, my 4+ yr old PC (apart from the GFX card) still has no trouble running the latest games. Still, if I do end up getting the game, I'd still pick a console version.

Lame. These are the exact same specifications applied to every UE3 powered game.

Definitely not accurate.
