Resident Evil 5 PC release official

PC News | Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando PC release window also revealed.
In what will come as a surprise to no-one, developer Capcom has confirmed that the often rumored PC version of the zombie actioner Resident Evil 5 has been officially confirmed.

Capcom advised that Resident Evil 5 will arrive "later in the year," while also divulging the release window for the PC editions of Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando, which are due for release this July.

Capcom has confirmed that co-op play will be supported in the title, and they have also revealed that support will exist for NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Vision technology, which will feature the use of 3D glasses while playing the game.

"The PC version of Resident Evil 5 will feature online play for co-operative play sessions over the internet and will also take advantage of NVIDIA's new GeForce 3D Vision technology (wireless 3D Vision glasses sold separately)."

Good news for PC gamers? I'm fine with RE5 on my Xbox... aside from the terrible, terrible horizontal tearing I keep getting. :/

God I hope they do a decent port and give it real FPS controls, the controls on the consoles stopped me from picking it up for them icon_sad.gif

Nice, time between Console -> PC ports are getting shorter for Capcom.
