E3 2009: More Alien vs. Predator action on show in latest trailer

PC News | The hunt is on.

New media has arrived, showing off the three-way battle that will consume players in the interwoven campaigns in the next Aliens vs. Predator title.

The latest screens show off what gamers will be able to expect from the title as they play amongst the three interwoven single-player campaigns which will tell the game's story from the perspective of the Predator, Aliens and Marines, not to mention the various states of battle that will be found in the multiplayer side of things.

Predator fans in particular will get a kick out of the latest game trailer as it depicts the Predator in all of its marine-stalking glory.

Aliens vs. Predator is scheduled for release in the early part of 2010 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Looks cool, though the Predator looks a bit skinny compared to his movie brethren...

You know what would be really cool? A 3-team multiplayer mode.

Lets say a bunch of people get to control an infantry team, other people controls a Predator each and some other people controls an Alien each. Then they all battle in the jungle to see who comes out on top.

That's pretty much what multiplayer will be like, that's what the previous games were like anyway.

They were all FPS, and they were amazing. I played the original to absolute death, both multi and single player (still bummed I didn't end up getting all the cheats though, some of the tasks involved were ludicrously difficult).
