Sacrifice is a must have ....

but to the point here is this weekends impulse buys (which for some reason doesn't get front page news on PALGN) in AU dollars at time of posting:

Preorder: Heroes over Europe $48.07
Preorder: CSI Deadly Intent $36.05

Kingdom: Elemental Tactics $17.97
AI War: Fleet Command $18.02

Space Rangers $12.01 ( A MUST HAVE IMHO)
Heros Tale Enhanced $7.20

I'm still waiting for Left 4 Dead to be half price again. Maybe around Christmas time.

FYI, I've seen it cheaper than this at EB Games (and presumably other places). May have been the midyear sale though.

Actually, L4D's price just got lowered permenantly to $29.99 USD.

Yeah the fallout collection is $20 at eb and you don't need the disc to play them once installed, so thats probably the cheaper option.

Not to rain on the Steam parade, but Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics are $5.99 (US) at GOG.com. I don't think that's even a sale, it's just the regular price.

If that's still too much for you Sloan, perhaps wait until the next big update for L4D is released (I think they announced one more before L4D2). I wouldn't put it past Valve to have another free weekend and a sale.

Sorry, Kim, but that subtitle doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm sure she's doing it to impress me, given how much I adored the last "Anno..." subtitle.

To add to matrix-cat's appraise of GoG, you also get the soundtracks (FO2 soundtrack is pure bliss on the ears) and wallpapers and stuff; including the Fallout Bible with Fallout 2, which is freaking awesome.
