World of Warcraft achievements conquered

PC News | Closest anyone will ever get to ‘finishing’ WOW.
EuroGamer has reported that a devoted World of Warcraft player has accomplished a world first - completing every achievement for the MMORPG title. Listed as a Taiwanese player with the avatar of ‘Little Gray,’ the character has all 986 achievements listed on the Armory page, as well as 100 mounts and 75 pets.

Visiting every location, completing every quest and defeating every dungeon and raid location on separate difficulties is no easy task, but Little Gray has achieved just that with 390,895 creature slain and 7,255,538,878 points of damage accumulated throughout the 'career'.

Many achievements are also linked to combating other players in PVP formats, with Little Gray recording 2124 Arena battles and making over 100,000 valid player kills. Now if we could only see how many cans of energy drink were consumed and how many sleepless nights were recorded during the gameplay, this list of statistics would be complete.

Wow, thats an excellent feat so congrats to 'Little Gray' =]

I wonder if he was playing for achievements, or because he loved WoW. I found out with Xbox achievements that I'd often play games I didn't like/was sick of to get all the achievements.

Well I suppose he has 'Cataclysm' to look forward to whenever that's coming out ^^

WOW, Just WOW!

There is never anyway I would have this kind of "S#$tty life" (I mean this much fun).

I made it to level 30 in WOW before I checked and not to my surprise more grinding to level 60. Don't have or want to have the time to grind away at a database game. Just sad that I introduced the now x girlfriend to it and she plays it to date.

I estimate that's about 400 days of play time.

Let that be a lesson, girlfriends and video games don't mix.

You know the worst part is that he is most likely massively proud of his 'achievement'

Whats with the hate? he's been probably been playing for years.. i think its a great accomplishment. Automatically assuming that he must have no life and is somehow a loser for doing this make you all sound like pretentious jerks.

I don't mind people playing WoW, in fact if I had enough time I would love to play it, but doing everything in that game is nuts! The amount of repetition and grind is crazy

i need to see a photo of this dude now. i'm guessing eyeballs bulging out of head, translucent almost transperant skin, possible hump formation on back, buck teeth with random patchy baldness and coke bottle glasses but i guess that would be stereotyping. but honestly if you waste that much of your life sitting in front of a PC it's highly likely.

i wonder if he's still playing or if he's sitting at his computer thinking "what's there to do in life now?"

I would assume he's spent -alot- of time playing this since launch. As there are a whole bunch of 'Realm First' Achievements. In either case; I say 'Congrats; now go outside'

unless they've changed it, there seems to be something a little dodgy going on. he has the Feat of Strength for all 3 Vanilla Collector's Edition pets (mini Diablo, Panda and Zergling) when he should only be able to get 1.

could be different on the Asian servers i suppose.

I don't play it but my housemate does, i think they are implementing a bunch of things that previously needed to be raided, for sale by gold, not that i know exactly but that is what it sounds like.

yeah, they have done that - but basically feats of strength are achievements that are only on offer typically once, and that's it.

things like the server first level 80, server first boss kill, etc.

anyway, all kind of irrelevant, since it turns out i was wrong. i checked a mate's armory entry and he also has all 3 pet achievements. i guess they changed the item from choose 1 pet, once, to an item that gives all 3.
