Sam Suede resurrected

PC News | Al Lowe adventure title back on the table.
Once billed as the return of adventure gaming genius Al Lowe to the development scene before being placed on hold in 2007, iBase Games' Sam Suede: Undercover Expose has been resurrected from the scrapheap, with development on the title now being undertaken by Fallen Earth co-developer Icarus.

It's unclear at this stage whether Al Lowe will again jump on board to complete the title or whether he will remain in retirement.

At this time a release date and confirmation of platforms for Sam Suede: Undercover Expose has yet to be released.

FREAKING AWESOME!

I really hope that Al Lowe does work on this one as he is a comedic genius when it comes to adventure titles.

The market seems about right for adventure titles to make a come-back, too - what with the past casual gaming boom, a good deal of those players might be looking to branch out into bigger things. Adventure games seem like a perfect fit for that crowd.

Bring it on.

Originally, the title was meant to be available exclusive on the PC, but at the moment no one has confirmed if this remains the case.

Agreed! His writing on the Leisure Suit Larry series and the Space Quest series still makes me laugh to this very day. He was way ahead of his time and I hope he does make a come back!
