Pre E3 2006: Dawn of War expansion entitled

PC News | Including new details, as well as the new playable race.
THQ has today shed some light on the second expansion in the award winning Dawn of War franchise, which was originally announced back in January. Titled Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade, the new expansion will include two new playable races, the Tau Empire and the Necrons, as well as a new single-player campaign and a promise to expand the multiplayer experience even further.

THQ didn’t go into any specifics of the game’s changes, but the single-player campaign will centre on a conquest ‘meta-map’, which with each territory captured will give tangible rewards to the occupying force. The Necrons will also use a new economy model.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade will be making an appearance at THQ’s E3 booth later next week, so stay tuned for more information on the title.
